We are a protein crystallography group at the University of Cologne. Interested in the structure-function relationship in proteins we have also established a solid biochemical expertise, including protein-protein interaction studies and  high-throughput screening.

We are member of the SFB829 "Molecular Mechanisms Regulating Skin Homeostasis" and some of our PhD students are members of the IGS-DHD, the "Graduate Program in Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics" or are supported by "Fonds der chemischen Industrie".
